I wanted to do something related to personal memories, thinking about making little clay replicas of objects with personal meaning but wasn't massively keen on this.
I did a google search the night before and found this image;
I liked the idea of putting objects into the pot its self but didn't want to damage any of my things, thought about putting photos into the clay but didnt think they wouldn't stand the 1000 Degree heat.
Decided to make little pots, quite rough/wobbly looking ones ranging in size; width and high but all with the same general shape and style. On these I wrote different happy and sad memories I have from mostly younger years where they are more likely to be vague or not quite right. I made one to stand tall and thin above the rest which has the names of people in my life that have died and my relationship with them. This was for all the happy memories i have of these people and the huge contrast of how sad the memory of them dying was and still is today.
These are the pots I got made in the induction but id like to make more and maybe apply colour to them to indicate how happy or sad they are. Maybe try liquid light to apply images to the pots?
They aren't the prettiest, or most artistic looking things but memories aren't always perfect and beautiful.
